NEW DELHI:
3i Infotech today announced that Allied Insurance of the Maldives Pvt. Ltd,
has selected its insurance offering, PREMIA to automate operations, increase
service levels and enhance its market share.
Under the terms of the agreement, the company will implement 3i Infotech's
PREMIA solution which will help create multi-dimensional health products, while
optimizing activities such as benefits management, provider contracting,
customer enrolments, claims processing, underwriting, policy administration,
reinsurance and accounting.
The system will also allow the company to streamline interactions with
customers, third party administrators (TPAs) and provider networks. This is
facilitated by an extended operation, including a web-based portal, in order to
empower TPAs and agents and enable SMS intimations to customers.
The company's PREMIA deployment will help in enhancing its customer base as well
as widen its TPA network. A role-based access model will help the company comply
with HIPAA security and privacy guidelines as well. Furthermore, the PREMIA
solution will help Allied Insurance of the Maldives Pvt Ltd automate its entire
business by creating an integrated seamless network. 3i Infotech will also
provide in-depth business and technology consulting services to support the
company's operations.
Commenting on the implementation, Abdul Wahid Thowfeeq, assistant general
manager, Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives Pvt. Ltd, said, “3i Infotech
