3i Infotech partners with Karvy Data Management

BANGALORE, INDIA: 3i Infotech Consumer Services Ltd., a provider in IT services, announced on Thursday that it has entered into strategic alliance with Karvy Group, a financial services provider, to extend the reach of eMudhra Digital Signature Certificates to the Indian consumers.

As per the agreement, Karvy Data Management Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Karvy Stock Broking Ltd., would be one of their Registration Authorities and would be able to promote, sell and distribute eMudhra Digital Signature Certificates to Indian consumers, said a press release.

eMudhra Digital Signatures (www.e-mudhra.com), launched in November 2008 by 3i Infotech Consumer Services Ltd., can be used for e-filing of IT returns, eTenders, eTicketing, MCA21, and is also expected to be used for online banking, e-commerce and online trading in future, the release added.
