3i bags e-governance project in Haryana

MUMBAI: The Haryana government has selected 3i Infotech Ltd. for the establishment of e-Disha Ekal Seva Kendra Project.

The company would collaborate with the state’s nodal agency Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation (HARTRON) to set up over 322 Citizen Service Centers (eDisha Ekal Seva Kendras) in the Gurgaon division. The centers will serve as a single window service delivery channel for government services.

The division includes Gurgaon, Faridabad, Rewari, Mahendergarh and Mewat districts. Village level entrepreneurs selected by the company will operate the centers.

"We are glad to be partnering with the Government of Haryana and HARTRON for this project and hope to play a key role in ensuring that their vision becomes a reality," said Anirudh Prabhakaran, chief operating officer, South Asia, 3i Infotech.

G2C services including issue of land record certificates, registration, issue of certificates, government schemes, employment of exchange services, issuance of ration cards, electoral services, pension schemes, road transport, public grievance and payment of utility, telephone, electricity bills will be made available through the centers.

The centers will also offer value added customer services in various verticals like agricultural services, financial services, commercial services, e-commerce / online services and educational services.
