3G auction will be completed in March: Raja

NEW DELHI, INDIA: The Union Minister for Communication and Information Technology A Raja on Tuesday said that the 3G auction will be completed in March. “Notice Inviting Applications will be issued shortly,” he said, while speaking on the sidelines of signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between India and Finland in the information security sector today.

The memorandum of understanding is aimed to promote cooperation and exchange of information relating to the information security sector between India and Finland.

The cooperation will be in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of each country and on the basis of equality, reciprocity and mutual benefit, said an official statement.

The agreement that comes into effect on the date of signing, will remain in force for a period of 5 years, the statement added.

The MoU was signed by A. Raja and Suvi Linden, Minister of Communication, Finland.
