2014 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women, calls for participation

BANGALORE, INDIA: The Anita Borg Institute (ABI), a non-profit organization focused on the advancement of women in computer science and engineering, has announced the Call for Participation for the 2014 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing ( India).

‘Think Different. Make a Difference.' is the theme for the 2014 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (India), an annual event where women technologists from across India & neighboring countries gather to network, collaborate, and explore the latest technologies and celebrate the influence of women in computing.

The event provides attendees with sessions covering technical topics from researchers and industry leaders, professional development sessions for attendees at all career levels, and, a career fair for aspiring undergraduate and graduate students.

Submissions are desired from areas of technology and professional development that reflects the conference theme ‘Think Different. Make a Difference.' Presenters are encouraged to submit proposals on new technology developments in the areas of Internet of Things, Wearable computing, Software Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Confluence of Cloud, Social & Mobile, Security, Gaming/Computer Graphics/Animation (GFX).

The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing is a program of the Anita Borg Institute and is co-presented with the Association for Computing Machinery.
