ESC expects business of Rs.300-400 crore, against Rs.300 crore generated during the 11th edition last year.

"Making a modest beginning with 30 exhibitors, Indiasoft has now become a premier IT event," Sareen said.

Indiasoft seeks to improve the visibility of the Indian software industry, especially small and medium enterprises and the start-up companies in the global IT market. The focus would be on business services, e-security, finance, banking, insurance, manufacturing, education and others.

Leading buyers from abroad would include Bank of Algeria. Costa Rica's Foreign Affairs Minister Anabel Gonzalez will be among the key speakers at the event, the third in this city.

Delegates from developed countries will assess the advantages of entering into long-term agreements with Indian companies. Those from developing and least developed countries will explore possibilities for engaging with Indian exhibitors in areas like legal outsourcing and governance.
