Zoho launches cloud-based SMB solutions

BANGALORE, INDIA: Zoho, a SaaS (software as a service) provider, on Thursday announced the launch of various business, productivity and collaboration products on the cloud, for the Indian small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The company launched Zoho CRM, a customer relationship management software; Zoho Sites, a do-it-yourself website builder; Zoho Docs, an online document management suite; and Zoho Mail, a professional email service.

A recent Zinnov research said that Indian SMEs will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 15 per cent by 2015, contributing $15 billion or over one-third of India's overall IT spend. The study further noted that India is home to around 50 million SMBs, of which 10 million are technology-ready. This addressable market opportunity will increase to 11 million by 2015.

Another report, by Gartner, reveals that the global SaaS market is set to reach 14.5 billion in 2012 and with 11.89 million broadband users today in India, SaaS is transforming the way businesses function.
