Zicom announces strategic alliance

PUNE: Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd, a company in the Indian electronic security market, has announced a strategic alliance with Bosch Security, Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Ltd and Topsgrup to launch a hi-tech electronic security service.

The service, Z-Security has evolved through the convergence of security, IT and Telecom to deliver a holistic security solution that includes digital video recording and transmission of live video images through internet and globally.

The system will also have the capabilities of capturing video signals and transmitting the same in the form of Multimedia Messaging (MMS), the company said in a statement.

The services under 'Z- Security' will provide customers with state-of-the-art electronic surveillance solutions on a monthly service investment starting from Rs 495 per month.

Zicom is negotiating with a broadband network provider to offer remote monitoring using high-speed broadband network. The company has an existing tie-up with Bosch for all its security hardware.

The alliance is based on maximum utilization of the core competencies of each of its partners. Cholamandalam will take care of the insurance part while Topsline will provide emergency response service.
