Zensar wins Oracle business worth $11mn

PUNE: Zensar Technologies has won significant wins in Oracle applications implementation and offshore support worth over $11 million.

“Notable among the new wins, have been significant contracts in key verticals of manufacturing, media, hi-tech and business services. The newly acquired entity ZTD has already begun to show substantial traction in R12 implementations and in leveraging Zensar’s offshore capabilities,” said Sushma Rajagopalan, chief strategy and corporate development officer, who also handles the ZensarThoughtDigital (ZTD) business, the company’s Oracle business.

Zensar is implementing global Oracle financials and procurement packages for a leading provider of trade, transportation and travel information, news and intelligence. The second phase of the implementation will include Order to Cash and Human Capital Management and will run through 2008-09.

It also won an Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation for an electronic manufacturing services company. The company is also implementing an 11.5.10 EBS suite for a venture backed hi-tech airport security company out of the East Coast. Other wins include implementing business service management for a leading enterprise management solutions provider.

"Recently appointed as a certified Worldwide Oracle Partner, Zensar has also made inroads into the European market this year and we now have a robust customer service in all key markets of USA, Europe, Middle East, India and the Asia Pacific regions," said Nitin Parab, head of Enterprise Application Services business.
