Zarget, a SaaS startup based in Chennai has launched an enabling platform named RespectStartups, to help early-stage firms that often struggle with funds to buy licensed software products.

The platform will help startups and large companies come together to offer budding entrepreneurs assistance in the form of free trials for products, access to services, and office space, among others.

Zarget believes that not every startup is lucky to receive funding during its nascent stage and to build a thriving ecosystem, it's important to help startups in need. “When we started Zarget, we went through a phase where we required a lot of software tools to build our product," Arvind Parthiban told ET. “It's difficult to spend too much money on buying licensed products when you are starting a bootstrapped company."

RespectStartups is like giving back to the community for Zarget that plans to manage the platform until it gains momentum. The platform will not only allow companies to showcase their offerings to the startup community but will also allow the early-stage startups to post requests on it.

Notably, the SaaS startup isn’t being too euphoric and doesn't expect a direct business impact through the initiative. According to Parthiban the key is to grow its business by enabling growth within the community. If startups like the product within the trial period of six months, they might end up buying them in the long run.

The platform will also be launched in the US next week.
