Zain Saudi Arabia selects AIRCOM for improved network planning

LEATHERHEAD, UK: AIRCOM International, the leading independent network planning and optimisation software and solutions provider, today announced that Zain Saudi Arabia (KSA), part of the Zain Group - a leading telecoms operator across the Middle East and Africa, has deployed several AIRCOM solutions in order to improve its network planning.

AIRCOM was chosen following a competitive RFP from which Zain KSA was looking for the ideal partner, with the relevant toolkit, to overcome the challenges associated with effective network planning. In addition, Zain KSA was looking for a trusted partner that could provide verification of the network upgrades made by its various network vendor partners.

The agreement includes the use of many of AIRCOM's market leading planning and optimisation tools, including ASSET, Capesso, CONNECT and I-VIEW Dimension. AIRCOM has also agreed to provide three years of maintenance and support to ensure that network planning continues to be conducted as effectively as possible, particularly as LTE is introduced.
