BANGALORE, INDIA: Yahoo's video texting app, Livetext which was released last month in the US and few other countries initially- is now available globally.
The team from mobile messaging application MessageMe, which it acquired last year reportedly has worked on the development.
The app works as a live stream and then continues like a conventional texting app. Users can type message and can have a real-time text overlay on the video.
Livetext is also silent- it communicates only through muted video and text.
Unlike other mobile messaging app, Livetext makes communication simple in one-to-one chat and conversations interesting with emote-icons on Android and iOS devices.
