Xiaomi unveils three smartphone manufacturing plants in India

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has partnered Big Bazaar to boost its offline sales during the festive season. The company announced that its popular Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 smartphones will now be available for sale at Big Bazaar stores.

According to Manu Kumar Jain, Group Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India, Big Bazaar partnership was planned when he met  Kishore Biyani, CEO of Future Group few months back. "This journey started when I first met Kishore Biyani few months ago to discuss a potential collaboration with the Future Group. During one of the brain storming sessions we agreed to try out something new - sell phones through Big Bazaar," he added.

Mi fans can buy Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 phones at special prices at Big Bazaar. Customers can also grab these phones through no cost EMI offers with Bajaj Finserv. Plus, special discount offers on all ICICI Bank credit card and debit card users. The Redmi Note 4 is the company’s best selling smartphone and was also the highest shipped smartphone in the country in Q1 2017.
