Xerox restructures its India leadership team

BANGALORE, INDIA: Business process and document management outsourcing, Xerox today announced that has restructured its India leadership team.

As a part of the organizational changes, it has appointed Konstantin Klein as the managing director for its India operations.

Klein replaces Andrew Horne, who has taken a new role in Developing Market Operations for the company. He has been entrusted with business operations in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives, said a press release.

On his new role, Klein said, “Post the ACS acquisition, Xerox is extremely well positioned to address BPO, ITO and document outsourcing services to take us to the next level. We are committed to investing in India's future as a leading exporter of innovation.”

Before this, Klein was the VP and GM, Xerox Eurasia International Group (XEIG), based in Moscow and played a key role in making it one of the fastest growing markets for Xerox worldwide, added the release.

In order to meet the fast-growing services opportunities in the south Asia region, it has appointed Vishal Awal, executive director, Services, Xerox India. Prior to this, Awal was the vice-president and head of Ericsson's Customer Unit (CU) for the India Region.

Now on, Xerox India's Technology & Channels portfolio would be headed by Vipin Tuteja, executive director, technology, Channels and International Business, said the release, adding that he would be responsible for the company's office and production printing businesses.

The division also has got new regional business heads in South, Central and North & East regions, including Rajiv Luthra (Central), M. Venkat Rao, (South), while Arvind Chabra continues to head the North and East zones.

The new appointments also include that of Vivek Chandel as the executive director of Marketing and Manmohan Kalsy as the executive director, Human Resources.

“With this infusion of senior talent and expertise, Xerox India aims to capture new opportunities in the fast-growing document management, services, graphic arts, production printing and office printing markets,” stated Klein.
