Xerox launches roadshow in Orissa for SMBs

BHUBANESWAR, INDIA: Xerox India, part of Xerox Corporation, an enterprise for business process and document management, on Thursday announced that it has expanded its business in the state of Orissa and rolled out a roadshow in Bhubaneswar last week.

The company showcased a portfolio of solutions in A4 mono and color lasers targeted at SME’s and Enterprise businesses, said a press release.

Addressing the meet, Kuldeep Malhotra, associate director - Volume and Supplies Business, Xerox India Ltd, said, “Orissa has a strong base of manufacturing, education, outsourcing industries and backed by a strong IT advocacy from the Government, there is a growing need for IT hardware and associated services. Furthermore the state has presence of key national distributors and sub-distributors that reach out to these audiences.”

He added that with its first consumer outreach program in Bhubaneswar, the company intends to increase the market share and brand equity for Xerox India by the end of 2011.

“The products that were showcased at the roadshow are aptly suited for the business critical needs of the SME’s and Enterprise in the region. We have over 100 products in our portfolio all of which are targeted at meeting particular needs of our customers.”

As part of the activation program for resellers and channel partners in the state of Orissa, Xerox India will provide direct pre-sales/post-sales support to these partners to deliver benefits to customers.
