World Phone launches int'l call cards

NEW DELHI: World Phone Internet Services Pvt Ltd (WPISPL), an Indian category "A" ISP, has forayed into the western market of the country by launching its World Phone Premium international calling card in Mumbai and announced the general availability of its VoIP calling cards in the cities of Maharashtra.





According to the press release available in the denominations of Rs 100, Rs 250, Rs 500 and Rs 1000, the cards will enable the people to place international calls to more than 200 countries including the USA, UK, France, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany etc., with tariffs starting from Rs.1.60 per minute onwards.





WPISPL is aggressively ramping up its distribution network around the country and is in advanced stages of talks with resellers and distributors in various other cities spread across different zones of the country to market its calling cards. WPISPL is also in advanced stages of negotiations with many leading retail chains to ensure ubiquitous over-the-counter availability of its cards. The company is targeting a distribution network with over 2,000 channel partners and resellers within the next six months to market the World Phone Premium card.





WPISPL has launched World Phone Premium calling cards in technological tie-up with US based Go2Call, provider of high quality, international VoIP (voice over internet protocol) calling service to businesses and customers in over 200 countries around the world.





As per the agreement between World Phone and Go2Call, all marketing, sales, distribution of the cards in India will be taken care of by World Phone and Go2Call will utilize its expertise to maintain backend operations to support the voice traffic over it's networks.
