World Emoji Day: US and UK are whining and Turkey is all happy

It was World Emoji Day, this past Sunday and Twitter chose the day to find out which emoji's are most popular in which countries.

For the US, UK and Canada, its all whining or exasperation, whatever you would prefer.

Though technically, this is called a ‘tired face’ but looks more like whining in the face of Trump and Brexit.

While Italy, France, and Japan are all about love, South America is rocking out to some good music. And Turkey, which just escaped a military coup that rocked the country and news cycles, had a smiley face emoji atop its list.

It's raining emojis and stickers right now at Twitter. The company just added the ability to put stickers on pictures and also lets advertisers target you based on the emojis you send.
