Workload transformations fuel significant growth for Xtravirt

LONDON, UK: Xtravirt, the company dedicated to virtualisation, has achieved 75 percent growth of professional services on last year, closing out the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2013 with revenues of approx. £3.8 million year to-date.

"Our technology partnerships with VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, Atlantis Computing and Tintri, among others, have been intrinsic to our success, both this year and previously," commented Gavin Jolliffe, co-founder and CEO, Xtravirt. "We have invested heavily in these partnerships and in training our staff and these investments have resulted in our continued growth."

Key milestones achieved year to date include:

- Microsoft accreditations in the Virtualisation and Management competency.

- Announced as a VMware EUC go-to-market partner.

- 6 VMware vExperts on staff.

- Increased customer base by 40 percent.

- Released new Advantage software products including vPi and the IOPS Calculator.

- Launched a new go-to-market partner programme.

- Launched CloudStart EXPRESS, a packaged strategy service for cloud.

- Completed the 3rd accreditation in the VMware ‘Management' competency as part of its Enterprise Partner programme, and also became eligible for a 4th in Cloud IaaS.

- Successfully closed out a large 18 month pan-European transformation programme, consolidating 12 data centres and deploying a VDI solution for 4,000 users.
