Wipro wins award for process soln

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Wipro has announced that "Wipro Process Packs - Changepoint-based Solution for the PMO" paper presented at the Compuware Partner Summit 2007 in Detroit, won the best paper award under the IT Portfolio Management category.

Wipro Technologies also announced two process solutions, Process Packs for PMO implemented on Changepoint from Compuware and Business service Analysis, Transformation and OptimizatioN (BATON) for IT operations at the Summit.

Wipro Process Packs is ready to deploy process framework covering best practices for managing software application projects on Changepoint. This solution aims to speed up customer initiatives implementing Changepoint for better IT governance. Wipro, in partnership with Compuware has developed Wipro Process Packs to provide readily usable best practices for software application development activities in IT.

This solution combines the IT governance features of Changepoint with the expertise that Wipro provides in program and project management. The solution can also be adapted to suit organization-specific needs and helps to accelerate compliance with software application development standards like CMMI and PMBOK.
