BANGALORE: In a move to capitalizing its overseas opportunities and in a bid
to strengthen its presence in Europe, Wipro Technologies has announced the
launch of its operations in Frankfurt. Wipro’s portfolio of service offerings
in the German market will address the needs of the enterprises for business
applications and meet R&D outsourcing requirements of technology companies
in Germany.
With a resource base of 9,000 software professionals and world-class quality
processes, Wipro hopes to deliver high quality IT services with greater
reliability and speed. In order to bridge the cultural barriers and improve the
productivity, the firm is also gearing up to provide training in German language
to its software engineers and consultants working on projects in that country.
Currently, Wipro delivers IT and product design services in Germany to some
leading telecom, banking and technology companies. There are about 100
consultants working for its clients, in Germany as well as in its software
development centers in India.
