Wipro opts for Embarcadero test

MUMBAI: Embarcadero Technologies, Inc., provider of data lifecycle management solutions and Wipro Technologies have announced that Wipro’s Interops Solution Group has chosen Embarcadero Extreme Test as a preferred application and performance testing solution for its application development projects. According to the press release, Wipro will feature Embarcadero Extreme Test in its Centre of Excellence in Bangalore, providing a platform to showcase it along with other Embarcadero data lifecycle management tools to prospective customers.

Wipro’s Interops Solution Group provides testing and quality assurance services to various segments in the technology and enterprise segment, including financial services, retail, utilities, manufacturing, telecom and embedded systems and applications. The release further states that his alliance will enable the two IT companies to leverage each other’s expertise. Embarcadero will support Wipro in its use of Extreme Test as the Interops Solution Group’s performance testing solution for application development projects.

Embarcadero Extreme Test is a next-generation, goals-based performance testing solution for enterprise systems. Embarcadero Extreme Test uses a goals-based approach to performance testing, allowing performance managers and quality assurance (QA) professionals to not only test the load on a given application, but also to set thresholds and parameters on the test to ensure that the outcome meets all defined requirements.
