Wipro, CSA Group to provide testing services

BANGALORE, INDIA: Wipro Technologies has announced that Wipro’s Tarang, Product Qualification and Compliance Lab and CSA Group, a global testing, certification and standards development organization will collaborate and leverage their business resources for providing localized testing and certification services in India.

In a typical product development cycle where the testing and certification is around 6-12 weeks, this Wipro-CSA collaboration will help product companies’ speed up the product testing and certification by 20-30 per cent said a press release.

The collaboration with Wipro's Tarang testing laboratories for CSA Group means reliable access to product markets, especially in emerging nations such as India.

"This agreement with Wipro will serve to further enhance CSA Group’s business in Asia by establishing a presence in one of the most high-tech testing laboratories available not only in India but internationally," said Ash Sahi, president and CEO, CSA Group.
