According to the agreement, Wipro will design, develop, deploy and manage for a period of three years, the e-Form applications hosted on the state portal for delivering citizen services to the masses, said a press release.
It would also be responsible for deploying and managing the State Service Delivery Gateway for accessing these services through common service centers. In addition, Wipro would be responsible for installation, commissioning and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and training identified users.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
The State Portal and the Service Delivery Gateway formulated under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) aim to provide easy and convenient access to Government services (both Informational and Transactional) for the common man. With this, the Rajasthan government would be able to provide a single window interface for accessing all citizen services, anytime and anywhere, the release added.
