Wipro bags new order for CRM in UK

BANGALORE: Wipro Technologies has acquired a new CRM project at nPower, a

leading supplier of gas and electricity in UK. Wipro has been implementing CRM

solutions like Siebel and Clarify during the last two years.

"Wipro has shown itself to be quality driven, something that was clearly

evident in their approach to our large application support requirements,"

said nPower CRM delivery manager Ian Londesbrough. "The high quality of

their CRM team is beyond doubt." Wipro business head, Enterprise

Application Services (EAS) Vikram Gulati said, "The key determinants of our

success were a close working relationship with the customer, strong process

orientation, a well-equipped team of consultants, and highly reliable offshore

methodologies."

Wipro has a team of more than 100 CRM consultants excelling at translating

this wealth of customer insight into customer intelligence through their

expertise in visioning, implementing and sustaining CRM projects.

In an earlier engagement with nPower, the Wipro team had supported its

business critical Siebel eEnergy application, which has multiple interfaces to

other important business systems like metering/registration (Energy),

provisioning (Telco), billing and customer correspondence.
