Verroken, Allot's new regional VP for sales Northern Europe, has pledged to work closely with leading UK VAD Wick Hill, to provide improved value added support for Allot's UK VARs, to further build on Wick Hill and Allot's joint successful sales growth.

Allot sells mainly to fixed and mobile operators, as well as cloud and managed IT providers, with a growing emphasis on the enterprise. Allot's solutions, based on DPI (deep packet inspection) technology, provide traffic management and optimisation, policy control and charging, security and analytics, enabling operators to develop digital lifestyle services.

Ian Kilpatrick, chairman Wick Hill Group, said: "We are very pleased with Graeme Verroken's appointment and the move to further increase channel support. Allot solutions have been very successful for us. The technology is excellent, it allows service providers to maximise their revenues, and the performance is blisteringly fast. Allot's portfolio is integrated, comprehensive and scalable, providing the opportunity for VARs to upsell and grow sales to existing customers. We have already seen a healthy increase in sales over the last year, and with this strengthened commitment to the channel, sales growth will be even stronger."

Graeme Verroken commented: "Growing UK sales can be done effectively through the channel and we are committed to increasing support for our reseller partners. Wick Hill is the ideal distributor for this, given its reputation for value-add, and we look forward to working more closely with them to expand our footprint in the UK."
