WarrantChecks.org publishing guide to safe online dating

HOUSTON, USA: WarrantChecks.org is about to launch a comprehensive guide to keeping safe when dating online, the company announced yesterday.

"We've discovered that many people who use our site for background checks are doing so because they are dating online," a WarrantChecks.org spokesman said.

"With that in mind, it seemed like a good idea to create an overall guide to safe online dating. While our search service can help keep them safer, it is only one part of a larger safe online dating plan."

The guide will take people step by step through a safe online dating process in order to show people how they can remain both physically and emotionally safe, he said.

"Just because someone you meet online isn't wanted for murder doesn't mean they are a good person," the WarrantChecks.org spokesman said. "They could be married, or have abusive tendencies. So you need to take other actions if you want to protect yourself and your heart."

WarrantChecks.org worked with experts in the relationship industry in order to put the safer online dating guide together, he said.

"We go through all the red flags that people need to look out for when they meet someone online," he said. "The more you know how to protect yourself, the safer you will be."

People will be able to access the safer online dating guide on the members' area of the WarrantChecks.org site, he said.
