To demystify and to make the process user friendly, Chennai-based Khemka Consultancy Services, a financial consultancy firm, has launched a unique e-filing facility for the filing of I-T returns.

Salaried employees can now file their personal tax returns for FY 10 before July 31, 2010 without any hassles by logging onto www.efileincometax.in and attaching a soft copy of their Form 16 and be done with it. The site, which is developed and maintained under the guidance of chartered accountants, ensures that the right kind of filing is done.

Moreover, the user can speak to their panel of chartered accountants and clarify their queries on various tax issues.

The advantages of this service is that they can get their returns filed from any part of this country and receive all related forms as soft copies to their mailbox, said a company source.

“E-filing ensures faster refunds of tax as the returns are processed at the Central Processing Unit (CPU) set up by Income Tax Department at Bangalore. The Income tax department is setting up few other centers in view of the success of e-filing in the recent years,” the source added.
