BANGALORE, INDIA: Google has acquired a time management start-up Timeful. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Timeful is an iOS app that analyses a user's schedule, suggests free time slots for tasks that needs to be completed. Users can segregate the tasks based on priorities.
Timeful was started by Israeli Professors Dan Ariely and Yoav Shoham with President and CEO Jacob Bank. Its first product was launched last year and has raised $7 million.
A blog post on the Timeful website said, "Exciting times are ahead. You will start to see the unique features you’ve come to expect from Timeful, and much more in Google Apps."
Google in its official blog wrote, "The Timeful team has built an impressive system that helps you organize your life by understanding your schedule, habits and needs. You can tell Timeful you want to exercise three times a week or that you need to call the bank by next Tuesday, and their system will make sure you get it done based on an understanding of both your schedule and your priorities."
