BALTIMORE, US: Airband Communications, Inc., a fixed-wireless company for businesses in the U.S., announced a new suite of bundled voice and data offerings that gives Baltimore’s small-to-midsize businesses (SMBs) enterprise-class communication services at costs well below what traditional providers can offer, as a press release claims.

"Baltimore businesses can save money with Airband because its voice and data services are delivered over the company’s wholly owned, fixed-wireless last-mile network, bypassing the wireline local loop to provide cost savings for customers. Airband’s voice and data services are delivered over one integrated Ethernet connection, making it easy to install and manage. The fixed-wireless network advantages make Airband an excellent alternative to traditional local exchange carriers and cable providers." says the company.

“Airband is committed to providing Baltimore businesses, especially SMBs, with enterprise-class voice and data service options that they might not have today, while still meeting their need to reduce monthly telecom costs,” said Chip Meacham, vice president and general manager of Airband’s Baltimore-based East Region. “Baltimore businesses can now fully benefit from Airband’s fixed-wireless voice and data services. Our VoIP service is provided over our private IP network, providing quality of service (QoS) that is on par with, and in many cases is better than the aging wired infrastructure of traditional telecom providers.”
