Vision Tech to distribute Quest Soft products

BANGALORE: Vision Technologies, a Bangalore-based company which provides

software solutions for building distributed enterprise and Internet applications

has announced a new distribution agreement Quest Software. The agreement allows

the company to promote and distribute Quest Software’s entire line of software

tools in India.

In all, there are 30 products, which will be distributed by Vision

Technologies under the agreement. The cost of the products may vary from $10,000

to $100,000 depending upon the needs of the customer and the number of licenses.

Talking about the alliance, Quest Software corporate business manager Puncho

Banerjee said, "Quest Software partnered with Vision Technologies to

distribute their software solutions in India because of the company’s strong

market presence, technical capabilities and its experience in representing

international software companies."

In addition to Quest Software, Vision Technologies is a business partner of

RougueWave Software, USA, Parasoft Corporation, USA, and Princetonsoftech, USA,

in India. The company, which clocked a turnover of US $1.4 million in 1999, has

projected a 35 per cent growth in turnover this year.

Vision Technologies manager operations Ravi Rao said, "We believe that

Quest Software should play a key role in every developer’s software

development process as it is the leading provider of development, deployment and

production support tools for Oracle and SQL Server."
