Virtusa inks MoU with Siddhartha Engineering College

VIJAYAWADA, INDIA: Virtusa Corporation today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada, to provide certification and multi-skill programs for students and help the college align its curriculum with information technology (IT) trends.

The MoU envisages special lectures, a project bank for students, and student projects at Virtusa facilities, with the goal of enhancing student skills and employability.

Siddhartha students will interact with experts from Virtusa, and its faculty will benefit from Virtusa training. Virtusa will be open for campus visits to give students firsthand experience in an IT firm.

Keith Modder, executive vice president and managing director, Asian Operations–Virtusa, said, "The objective of Virtusa's MoU with Siddhartha Engineering College is to promote effective learning practices that enable students to develop state-of-the-industry skills. Through our Campus Reach initiative, Virtusa is committed to improving students' employability."
