BANGALORE: Virtusa Corporation, a US-based provider of high end software engineering services, today inaugurated its second facility in Hyderabad in response to its explosive growth. Located at the White House building in Begumpet in the heart of the city, the 30,000 sq ft facility, which can accommodate over 400 people, will help the company build further cutting edge capabilities to create value for its global clients.

"We currently have over 1300 employees worldwide and are growing rapidly due to our highly differentiated value proposition and our ability to deliver consistent business benefits to global 2000 and industry leading software vendors. Virtusa is geared to double its size over the next six to seven months," said Harsha Kumar, General Manager, India operations, Virtusa. "This expansion is part of our plans to invest $11 million in our Advanced Technology Centre at Hyderabad," he added. The Indian Operations of Virtusa are currently operating out of the state-of-the-art facilities in My Home Tycoon.

The new facility will be a world class facility, similar to Virtusa's existing global centres, offering the best-in-class technologists and engineers a comfortable and state-of-the-art, working environment needed for optimum performance.
