Videocon unveils A55HD smartphone at Rs. 13,499

Videocon Mobiles division has today introduced A55HD Smartphone into the Indian market. Powered with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, the new device runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) and features 8 MP rear camera with auto focus and 3.2 MP front-facing camera.

Khalid Zamir, head- product planning and development at Videocon Mobiles said that the launch of Videocon A55HD heralds into a new milestone. "With this device we bring to our customers best-in-class technological innovations, which we are offering at a compelling price," he said.

The A55HD, Zamir said brings the best of high-definition technology, processing speed, camera quality and many more features relevant to the upwardly mobile, technology savvy and brand-conscious user.

Priced at Rs 13,499, the new Smartphone has 5.0" OGS capacitive touch screen with 1280X720 (HD) resolution with capabilities such as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS and HSPA 42 Mbps with 2000 mAh battery. It comes with the V-Store that enables quick access to Android apps, including games and social networks.
