Usha Lexus 848B, Chrome Pawn

The Usha Lexus 848B is an entry-level phone that adds a dash of style to this segment. It looks great in the metal chrome finish, but as soon as the bright blue keypad backlight is on, you can see that the keys are just plastic.

Talking of features, it has a lively display screen with a keypad that has large keys. A dedicated camera key and a Bluetooth key is a good addition, though their usefulness can be decided by the user alone. The interface of its MP3 player is cool but the sound volume is a bit low (with both speakers and earphones). The VGA camera of the phone has several adjustment options in settings, but the overall camera quality is just average.

One of the problems I faced with the phone was its USB slot cover. It is hard to fix and even if fixed, it sticks out from the side a bit. Another thing missing is the FM, which is now an unofficial requisite for phones around this price range. At the same price, you could also consider the Sony Ericsson Z550i, which offers a few extra features.
