UK pharmaceutical firm deploys Four Soft soln

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Four Soft, a provider in software solutions for transportation and logistics, today announced that Polar Speed Distribution Ltd (UK) has selected 4S eLog to optimize its management of their temperature controlled, pharmaceutical distribution warehouses throughout the UK.

The contract would be serviced through Four Soft’s UK subsidiary Four Soft UK Ltd.

With this implementation, Polar Speed will have a powerful tool to support their warehouse operations.

Being open to any kind of client auditing and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) for all aspects of their warehousing and distribution, Polar Speed required a 'real time', barcode scanning WMS solution to control their multiple sites.

4S eLog would provide them with complete warehouse traceability and location management for each stage of their warehousing function.

Specific requirements included extensive batch traceability, quarantining functionality along with real time interfaces to both SAP and Sage to improve customer relations and speed of processing orders.
