UC Browser reports big surge in IPL-related traffic

BANGALORE, INDIA: After releasing a special "Cricket 2014 version" of its mobile browser before the start of the IPL season, UC Browser claims that it has seen a tremendous surge in web traffic to its cricket content and game offering. UCWeb has reported that currently over 1 million unique visitors are using UC Browser to view cricket content each day.

This number is up from 1,50,000 daily unique visitors for cricket-related content just prior to the start of the season. Meanwhile, UC Browser's "IPL Guessing Game" is drawing more than 5,50,000 visitors per day with its attractive prizes.

The latest version of UC Browser was redesigned with a new user interface that allows users to quickly and conveniently access the most complete and up-to-date IPL-related information including live scores, previews, commentaries, interviews, stats, photos, videos and more.

This version also includes a "Cricket" add-on that gives users timely reminders of upcoming matches. UC Browser's exclusive "IPL Guessing Game" encourages cricket fans to guess the winner of each match and gather points to win IPL match tickets, custom cricket gear, and gadgets including iPhone 5s.
