UC browser releases three new versions of browsing on Android device

NEW DELHI, INDIA: UCWeb Inc., a global provider of mobile internet software and services, has key updates released with three new UC Browser versions for Android devices: UC Browser 9.5 for Android, UC Browser Mini 9.0, and UC Browser HD 2.6 for Android tablet.

UCWeb is releasing tailored versions of UC Browser for different categories of Android devices to provide users with exceptional browsing experience no matter their screen size or hardware capabilities.

UC Browser 9.5 for Android now boasts the fastest download speed of any mobile browser on the market. Users can download 15% faster on 3G and Wi-Fi compared with the previous version of the browser. Performance on 2G networks has also been accelerated to provide users with a smoother browsing experience.

The browser is also now more convenient to use. The home screen widget gives users quick access to UC Browser functions, such as search, download, settings, Facebook and so on, without needing to first open the browser.

UC Browser 9.5 is the Web Application Centre, which provides users with a catalogue of HTML5 supported web apps that can be added to the Speed Dial. Compared to normal apps, these web apps do not require downloading, installation or updating; they can simply be added and used immediately.

In addition, for improved localization and webpage display, there is now greater support for regional languages and fonts on web pages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and more. If the user's phone does not support certain regional languages, UC Browser will automatically install them when browsing web pages containing such languages.

The second part of this mega release is UC Browser Mini 9.0, a lightweight browser especially useful to users of Android phones with lower specs and less storage space.
