UBICS set to spread wings in India

PUNE: UBICS, Inc., an integrated IT service provider, today said that it plans for inorganic growth through acquisitions.

The decision for its expansion was taken at its first board meeting held here.

Announcing the plans of the company, Vijay Mallya, chairman and CEO of UBICS said, “The company will take a decision on acquisitions on a case-to-case basis and UBICS will unveil a slew of products in the coming months targeted at different sectors of the economy.”

Mallya said the company will expand its operations in India and focus on core sectors like education, human resource management and e-governance projects.

The company will also ramp up its facility in the coming years. It will also hire more professionals at its development center here.

Pittsburgh, US-based $23 million UBICS is an affiliate of the UB Group.
