CIOL Twitter launches custom profiles for business agents and customer support team

Twitter is launching a new design for your conversation on the micro-blogging site. Instead of showing replies in a chronological order, Twitter will now rank conversations to show more relevant or engaging content on the top.

With these personalised ranking, Twitter wants to show a different set of replies to different people and will take signals including whether you follow the person who replied and whether the author replied back or not. Not to forget, you can still expand the tweet to see every reply.

Twitter said in a blog post, "Conversations are happening all the time on Twitter—and it all starts with just one reply to a Tweet. It’s easy to follow and join conversations: We show you the most interesting content in the conversations first, and it’s easy to follow along with what people are saying."

The new design will also count the replies, "You’ll see a number next to the reply icon indicating how many direct replies the original Tweet has received. This number is not the total number of replies in the entire conversation," said Twitter.

Twitter recently introduced many new initiatives including expanding the feature of mute, making reporting of malicious content easier, and Chatbots for businesses.
