Tulip, MindTree, Iomega to offer solution on cloud

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Iomega, an EMC company and provider of data storage solutions, announced the launch of video surveillance storage management solutions in partnership with Tulip Telecom and MindTree Limited.

The partnership looks to provide video surveillance services based on cloud technology.

The cloud solution involves Iomega StorCenter network storage devices, Tulip’s national broadband network with cloud data centres, and MindTree’s video management software.

“Iomega is helping to redefine video surveillance technology by delivering a high performance, low cost all-in-one IP solution targeting small businesses and distributed enterprises,” said Jonathan Huberman, president, Iomega Corporation. "With leading video management software partner MindTree, Iomega StorCenter network storage products deliver the latest hosted video surveillance solutions."

Iomega’s association with Tulip, leading Enterprise Communications Services provider, will enable ‘Iomega StorCenter plus’ to reach India’s top 2,400 businesses, currently served by Tulip over its Nationwide Broadband Network, says a release.

Moreover, Tulip 900,000 square feet data centre launched earlier this year in Bangalore will complement the product offering launched by Iomega, Tulip and MindTree together.

Iomega’s association with MindTree, a IT and product engineering services company, will bring MindTree’s SecureMind surveillance manager video management system (VMS) application on all Iomega StorCenter network storage devices.
