TTML's network rated congestion-free

MUMBAI, INDIA: Reinforcing its claim as the best network service provider, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) has emerged as the only network to be rated completely congestion-free, in its circles, 5 times in a row, in a recent report by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

In the report for Q1 –FY10, TTML’s network has recorded zero congestion across all its Points of Interconnect (POI). POI is a switch which connects subscribers of one service provider to that of another. The report, which TRAI releases quarterly, gauges the seamless availability of telecom services.

Commenting on this achievement, Haridev Khosla, President–Network, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited, said, “This is a matter of great pride for us that our network has once again been recognized as being completely congestion-free by the regulator. We have invested significantly in our network and the report stands testimony to all our efforts. This translates as an unbeatable advantage to our customers as it means crystal clear voice quality and super connectivity.”
