Transcend teams up with Trend Micro

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Transcend Information has teamed up with Trend Micro to pre-install Trend Micro's advanced USB Security software on its JetFlash V85 USB flash drive.

Trend Micro USB Security is developed to protect against malicious content in files transferred to USB flash drives. Upon finding threats, the software alerts the user and moves all dangerous files to a hidden quarantine folder.

When the JetFlash V85 is plugged into a computer with Internet access, Trend Micro USB Security will automatically download and install the latest security updates directly onto the drive.
