Transcend announces JetFlash contest

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Transcend Information, Inc., a provider of flash memory products today announced a unique promotional campaign, ‘Name the JetFlash V95C contest’, to further enhance the awareness and sales of its much appreciated ultra-compact USB flash drive, the JetFlash V95C in India.

The participants could win Transcend's portable hard drives, digital photo frames and MP3 players and would also get to buy the 4GB JetFlash V95C for just Rs.599/- compared to its original price of Rs. 999/-, said a press release.

Austin Huang, regional head - sales, SAARC and APAC, Transcend, said, "We have received tremendous response to our JetFlash V95C USB Flash Drives from India and are aiming to reach out to our customers and offer them a chance to win many of our products apart from a huge promotional discount on the 4GB V95C.”

The participants in the ‘Name the JetFlash V95C contest’ just need to suggest a good brandable name for the JetFlash V95C, it added.

The contest is expected to close on December 31, 2008 and the winners would be announced by mid-January 2009.

During this period, people can also buy the 4GB JetFlash V95C on a special discounted price, the release said.
