The budget-driven Satellite C Series offers a choice of either a 15.6-inch (Satellite C55) or 17.3-inch (Satellite C75) diagonal screen size. With a focus on value and reliability, the laptops are ideal for budget-conscious consumers and families looking for a well-equipped PC for getting everyday stuff done. To enhance the sound capabilities of both the Satellite L and C series, Toshiba turned to the audiophiles at Skullcandy to provide a richer sound experience more commonly heard on more expensive laptops. To achieve clearer, more natural sound, Toshiba and Skullcandy, along with DTS, aligned to tune the built-in speakers to Skullcandy's audio spec, as well as integrate a custom sound profile with optimized settings for Skullcandy headphones and earbuds.

The new Satellite L Series and C Series laptops will be available on June 22, 2014 onwards, at $399.99 MSRP and $329.99 MSRP respectively.
