Candy Crush Saga

Candy Crush Saga has become immensely popular amongst users of all age groups. Two mascot-like characters Tiffi and Toffee will accompany users to solve several puzzles and earn points to go up the stages in this Candyland adventure. This game has really good graphics, and a simple and addictive gameplay.

Packing over 400 levels filled with candies, the difficulty level keeps rising. Users get unlockables for completing levels and can even sync their games with the app on Facebook. Though it looks simple, this game is very addictive and challenging once one gets playing.

Subway Surfers

Subway Surfers is a fun filled game, in which you have to dodge trains, jump barriers, duck under big barriers, and repeat those things until you die. You die by banging into something or not jumping or ducking something. There are also powers. A jetpack allows you to fly. The sneakers allow you to jump onto trains and over big barriers, but be careful; if you jump with the super sneakers by a tunnel (entrance) you could die.

A coin magnet gets coins for you and a 2x star get you twice times as many (points). There are also missions you will see if you go to the menu (pause menu). While you are running you can also pick up boxes (mystery boxes) and letters to make a word.

In it, players quickly earn cash which allows them to ‘buy' powers in the store. There is an option to purchase cash for prizes as well (using real cash!), but we never had to avail ourselves of that option as coins are earned quickly in the game...which, luckily, they cannot do without your password.

The creators of Subway Surfers release updates every few months to keep the app fresh. Special characters and hover boards are thrown in around major holidays as well.

Temple Run

The game offers a fresh perspective in terms of being movie-inspired. Apart from that the basic mechanics of jumping, sliding and tilting remains the same. The game also offers additional power ups every now and then which include a magnet, a flying monkey and a soap bubble amongst others. Gems can also be used to "supercharge" power-ups. For instance, the 2X coin power-up becomes a 3X coin boost at the cost of 1 gem.

Temple Run Oz also has certain common elements as seen in the Brave version of the game. You could collect bows in the game to unlock different bonuses like extra score points and score multipliers at the end of each running session. Here the bow has been replaced by a musical key to unlock the music box for similar bonuses. Further, you can choose to open all the boxes in case you're feeling too greedy, by paying additional coins.

Temple Run stays true to the game's tradition of non-stop running as well as turning, jumping and sliding to avoid hurdles and collecting coins. But since this version is based on Disney's movie, it incorporates a lot of elements such as new environments, objects and characters. You run as The Great and Powerful Oz down the mesmerising Yellow Brick Road in the Whimsical Woods and The Dark Forest.

GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience

No phone is fun without a decent racing game. Gameloft's GT Racing 2 tries to create more realistic automobile simulation racing. Packing 67 licensed cars from 30 popular brands, the player gets to customize and tweak them but only after winning some moolah.

The cars need to be driven on 13 different tracks. The game pans out through 1,400 different events that include some basic gameplay action styles - Classic Race, Duel, Knockout and Overtake. The developers have promised to add 28 challenges every week to hone your driving skills and also unlock a car. Multiplayer mode takes this racing game to the next level and we advise you to try this only on a WiFi network

Angry Birds Go

Say hello to Mario Kart style racing with Angry Birds characters. Get yourself comfortable in the soapbox for a thrilling downhill race between birds and piggies. The player gets to be a bird or even as an evil pig. Drive along the roads full of obstacles and you will have to perform some stunts in order to stay ahead in the game. After every race, the player can upgrade the ride or try out any of the fun game modes offered, like a single race or a timed race.

All this would be futile without the super powers given to every character, and players can use them to defeat others.
