STOCKHOLM: Tilgin, a provider of solutions for multiplay and next-generation broadband access, has won a first volume order through its distributor NetDigital for home gateway solutions from Connexion Technologies in the US for fiber and Ethernet access roll-out. In June 2009, Tilgin announced the initial breakthrough order from Connexion Technologies. Tilgin won this new first volume order in collaboration with NetDigital, Tilgin's partner and reseller in North America. The order value from NetDigital is approximately 1 MSEK (Swedish Krone)

Connexion Technologies, a U.S. installer and manager of telecommunications networks, will now launch networks based on Tilgin's home gateway products for fiber and Ethernet access and the softwares HGA570 and VCM. This new order is intended for five of Connexion’s different student housing projects with installation planned to start this summer.

“We are very glad to be a part of Connexion’s growth and expansion on the US Fiber to the Home market. Their trust proves the capability and flexibility of our softwares and solutions to meet the most advanced market requirements,” says Mats Victorin, CEO of Tilgin. “This order confirms Tilgin’s leading position in next generation access solutions and I value Connexion’s choice of making our ACS solution, VCM their main device management solution.”

Connexion Technologies is not a service provider, rather it selects and manages a portfolio of providers that offer entertainment and communication applications, including enhanced television, telephone, Internet, and other services over Connexion’s provider-neutral networks. “With Tilgin and its next generation access solutions Connexion and other operators can stay attractive and relevant for years to come for both their current subscriber base and new ones,” says Basem Toma, Vice President at NetDigital.
