TiEcon 2012 kicks off with focus on innovation

NEW DELHI, INDIA: The 12th edition of the TiEcon began with a note on innovation in entrepreneurship.

More than 1,000 entrepreneurs and delegates thronged to take part in the two-day Delhi-NCR chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) event.

Celebrated entrepreneur and founder of Cobra Beer, Lord Karan Billimoria;  Sir James Beven, British High Commissioner to India and TiE Delhi-NCR Chairman and founder of Naukri.com Sanjeev Bikhchandani flagged off the TiEcon 2012.

At the event, started with a theme of: ‘Entrepreneurship- Thriving in Chaos’, the speakers stressed upon the need of innovation in entrepreneurship. National Entrepreneurship Policy was debated by Arun Maira, Member of the Planning Commission.

The key speakers include: Dr Saurabh Srivastava, Chairman Emeritus, TiE Delhi-NCR;  Shekhar Kapur, Actor and Director; Nasscom President Som Mittal.
