LONDON, UK: ThreatTrack Security today launched VIPRE Internet Security 2014, that protects users from more than 200,000 new threats every day through powerful antivirus and anti-spyware technologies bolstered by additional defensive layers, including a firewall, an anti-spam filter, a malicious website blocker and automated patching of vulnerable software programs.

New features for VIPRE Internet Security include Social Watch and Search Guard. Social Watch scans users' Facebook pages for bad links that could expose them and their friends to viruses, Trojans and other online threats. Search Guard protects users from bad links when using popular search engines like Google, Bing or Yahoo.

Powered by VIPRE Trait Technology, VIPRE Internet Security defends users from the latest online threats without slowing down their PCs. Moreover, it continues to defend users from malware that exploits unpatched software programs on users' PCs.

The Auto Patch capability automatically applies software updates to vulnerable programs - such as Adobe Flash and Oracle Java, among others - minimising the risk of third-party software vulnerabilities that enable cybercriminals to infect or hijack PCs.
