The future of banks is virtual: PM Modi

NEW DELHI, INDIA: The banking segment will go completely virtual, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Although premise-less and paperless, the segment will reach out to the far flung areas in rural districts via technology, the PM said.

Focusing on mobile banking, he said that the banks should tap the immense potential in the rural areas of the country through mobile banking.
