MUMBAI, INDIA: Thailand known more for its vibrant night life, is getting serious about its day business as well.

In a development that will boost, digital signage-based advertisement revenues in the country, VGI Global Media, a provider of lifestyle and OOH media solutions, has partnered with LED Advance, with VGI controlling up to 30 percent stake.

The partnership will enable VGI to increase its service coverage in the aviation setting, as LED Advance has secured the rights to manage advertising media at airports, including 25 LED screens in six AOT-run airports and seven in seven airports of the Civil Aviation Department, advertising media at 57 jet bridges in five AOT-run airports and the websites of AOT and all AOT-run airports.

Initially, VGI will inject financial resources to raise LED Advance's capital to finance its plan to expand its out-of-home media solution network, especially in the aviation segment.

Marut Arthakaivalvatee, Chief Executive Officer, VGI, revealed the company's decision to pursue business expansion to exploit the growth potential of Thailand's aviation industry, especially in the low-cost carrier segment, and the company's rights to manage advertising media on Thai AirAsia flights.
